Italian Wine School Winter 2023 Beer Church University Ticket Portal

Our owners have both taken this class at the Torciano estate in San Gimignano, Tuscany➖TWICE➖and it is a lifetime memory. We are so thrilled to be bringing it back to New Buffalo for our FOURTH year!

Word of how unique and special this event is has spread, so if you'd like to attend please don't hesitate until it's too late.  Everyone could use a special event after the last few years, and this is surely it!

Back in Spring 2018 in the old Taproom here's a clip of the fun we had when Chiara, niece of famed Torciano Winemaker Pierluigi Giachi, began to let everyone know about the lineup that was in store for them (make sure to click on the sound in the lower right corner of the video to be able to hear the lovely Italian language of wine):

Here's what Master Sommelier Chiara and friends will be
bringing for you to taste this time while teaching you the
finer points of a Toscana wine and olive oil sensibility:

  • Brunello di Montalcino D.O.C.G.
  • Terrestre Super Tuscan IGT
  • Bartolomeo Super Tuscan IGT
  • Baldassarre Super Tuscan IGT
  • Cavaliere Super Tuscan IGT
  • Chianti D.O.C.G.
  • Chianti Classico D.O.C.G.
  • Vernaccia of San Gimignano D.O.C.G.
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Truffle Olive Oil
  • Pepper Olive Oil
  • Balsamic Vinegar Old Selected
  • VinBeato Dessert Wine

In this clip Chiara prepares us for her family's Brunello di Montalcino D.O.C.G.

We will also be firing up our fantastic Vesuvio Oven to make fresh bread for our house bruschetta for you to clean your palates and sop up the oil and Balsamic (and wine).

And an event like this also calls for some curated boards, right?:

Also, won't the VinBeato Tuscan Dessert Wine require some actual dessert, preferably house-made Tiramisu, eh?:

Here's some greats pics of the Giachi Family Estate where all of this is lovingly made since 1720:

Here is a link to check out their wonderful estate in Tuscana.  The Giachi family is the real deal and 17 generations after first buying the land in 1720 they haven't changed a thing.

We hope you'll be able to join us for this rare opportunity to bring Toscana to New Buffalo!

Please note that if you want to add additional seat tickets prior to purchase you will need to select ADD TO CART, where you will be able to add or subtract from the total number of tickets you'd like before checking out. BUY NOW BUTTONS ABOVE AND BELOW ARE AN EASIER OPTION FOR SINGLE-TICKET PURCHASE but won't always allow additions given the popularity of the event.

Also, this wine is not available for sale in the United States but by attending Italian Wine School you will thereafter be able to purchase their wine, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar directly as a private customer and friend of The Giachi family.
